Volunteer Council

The Huntsville Utilities Volunteer Council organizes and executes charitable endeavors on behalf of the company's nearly 800 employees.

Their purpose is twofold:

  1. To foster positive community relations and to demonstrate good corporate citizenship by identifying, organizing, promoting and carrying out worthwhile community projects.
  2. To encourage all employees to volunteer their services for the community’s benefit on an individual or group basis.
They achieve this by organizing fundraisers among Huntsville Utilities employees, then making donations to local organizations that work to better the lives of others in the community.

Here are some samples of their recent efforts.  If you have a question about the Volunteer Council, click here to send them an email.
